I am qualified in all areas of Special Ed. I am qualified in Language Arts K-12. I've taught literature reading, and expository writing at the college level in two colleges: Buena Vista University in Ottumwa, Iowa and Ivy Tech Community College in Bloomington, IN. I am an artist, storyteller, performing artist, and published poet. I am licensed and fully certified and highly qualified; I hold standard teacher's licenses in both Iowa and Indiana. I have been teaching for over 20 years in 4 different subjects grades K-12 and college. Teaching and tutoring is my passion and joy. I enjoy watching young minds learn and grow. When I met Andrea, my 2nd grade daughter was struggling in math. I was very nervous about her struggle. Andrea was very warm and inviting, she asked me to give her time to work with my daughter to find out what was causing the problem. We have been working with her for 8 months now and my daughter grade in math has gone from not meeting standards to a C, if you knew my child's struggle, you would know that a C is outstanding. I would recommend her services to anyone who needs a compassionate, and caring tutor. Andrea you are the best, thank you for all you do for my daughter.
