Kind, Light-hearted, Pragmatic I like animals because they model non-verbal communication and paying attention. They offer companionship, tenderness, and playful energy. I'd like a job that provides time to be outside - for walks, chores, or play. I enjoy staying overnight with pets because they cope better at home than in a kennel. I'm experienced with cats, birds, reptiles, and farm animals. When I was a child we had several pets - as well as occasional wild critter. I took classes toward becoming a Vet. I went a different route, but never lost my desire to work with animals. Starting my own business in the 1990's, I included pet care as one of my services. In my spare time I like to hike, read, write, and create art. I still enjoy learning. I also have three children who give me much joy and love. Many families have trusted me with their children, pets and homes for years. My skills: Understanding an animal's personality; Meeting their needs; Being attentive to changes.
