I wish I did not have to leave this review, but I feel like I owe it to other nice, well-meaning parents just looking for reliable, trustworthy care. Ana resigned quite suddenly after working for us for 5 months with two weeks' notice (we had agreed to significantly longer notice than that in a contract) and then backed out and gave zero notice. I was in a serious bind, having registered for a really expensive work training program AND I had no childcare for a trip to MD Anderson with my husband who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. We feel so shocked, sad, and taken advantage of. We've had 2 other long-term nannies we still have amazing relationships with. We've never experienced anything like this. Doing this to a family in the midst of a terrible crisis with a terminal cancer diagnosis shows poor character and a lack of human decency/compassion. I'm heartbroken and so are my husband and little boys.
