About Ana

I am a creative, curious, playful and responsible childcare professional. My goal in any childcare role is to find the balance between holding space for your child to process the big feelings they often have while helping to support the boundaries and values you have set as a family. I believe in the 2-choice method which empowers your child to learn how to make decisions and experience natural consequences while maintaining a safe environment. I model positive language to help them see what they "can do" vs "don't do this" or "that". As a Pre-school art teacher, I firmly believe that for kids as well as adults, the process is more important than the end result, and I love queuing up opportunities for children to learn and create. Additional strengths: - Fluent in Spanish - As an experienced lifeguard, I'm confident caring for children in and around water In my spare time I like to play tennis, swim, cook, paint and read. As a teacher, I'm mostly available nights and weekends.
