About Ana

I like working with kids because of all the different personalities you get to meet. You learn how big of an impact humans can be to one another starting from a small age. It also teaches us how to be kinder, be more patient and consistent. I started working at summer camps during my college years in Oklahoma and in California. I liked the idea of being a role model and a safe space for kids who came from different backgrounds. One of the best things I learned from working at summer camps was that we had to treat it as if the kids/parents were visiting Disneyland. In that moment it isn't about us, but about making sure our guests have the best summer ever. My goal with being a caregiver is being another friend of the family. My dad always taught me that it is important to build connections and a community. One thing you should know about me is that I love connecting to people through music and song, so don't be surprised if I ask you to harmonize with me!
