My name is Ana, and I have over 4 years of experience working with special needs children, specifically those with autism and ADHD. While I don't have formal tutoring experience, I often help my elementary-aged nieces and nephews with homework in arts and crafts, reading, writing, math, and science. I enjoy helping them overcome learning blocks and frustrations, often rooted in low self-esteem or confidence. My approach focuses on understanding each child's learning style and using hands-on, engaging exercises to help them retain information. I primarily work with elementary-aged children and special needs individuals but am open to other age groups depending on the subject. I boost confidence by addressing their interests and allowing them to express frustrations without judgment. My goal is to empower them, helping them retain information and show proficiency.
