About Ana

Where do I begin to tell you about Ana and all she did for our parents and our family? She came into a dicey situation because our mother wanted, "Nothing to do with anyone who is going to help, I don't need anyone, I am fine and can do it myself!" Ana was kind and respectful and gave Mom her space. She quietly helped her (but not too much, mind you!!) and ever so slowly, my mother accepted all that was Ana. Ana takes initiative and knows what needs to done and when. She is knowledgeable on all Activities of Daily Living and knows when to step back and when to step in. She knows so much more than "her job". She helped my parents with technology, navigating doctors and all their "doctorness", she was well-versed on current events and took an interest in my parents interests. She was a compassionate friend to my father as we watched my mother deteriorate. In the end, Ana helped shepherd both of my parents in their final hours. To this day, we still have coffee. Ana made the last five years of our parents lives the most full and dignified that we could have asked for. I cannot recommend Ana highly enough.
