I am now taking care of a lovely 35-year-old girl who has Down syndrome for more than 3 year now. We do a lot together. We read, walk, play games and do art work together and we both enjoyed them so much. She is a very special girl with very special talents. I love how we can connect in everything we do together like watching a movie, fixing hair, playing with dolls, painting nails and so forth. We do cook our food together, we clean the house and walk the dogs. So I would love to help others who may be in need of such help especially on a one-on-one level.

It is daunting to see so many applicants available and try to choose the right one. I was fortunate that Ana's profile sparked my interest. She consistently arrived early, was clean, appropriately dressed, tidied up around my mother's apartment, cleaned up after messes, and was sensitive to my mother's frequently changing moods (due to dementia.) She was also able to help her with physical needs since my mother was unable to use her right side. Ana was compassionate, very flexible, and willing to try new things to help my mom feel more positive about her situation. There were times when I was unable to transport my mom to the doctor and pick up medications, and Ana very enthusiastically did that for me. If I could give her 10 Stars I would.
