I have had experience babysitting for a family that had a child with autism. He was a joy to be around and I enjoyed him very much. I have also worked with a child in a daycare setting that had sensory disorder. She is one of the funniest little girls I have taken care of, and I think of her and smile. Also in a daycare setting I had the privilege of taking care of a little girl with Downs Syndrome. I think of her often and miss her. She is so smart and so funny. I also had the an experience at a head start for my field work in school. I had a little guy with Hypo-plastic left heart syndrome and he was so fun and encouraging. Children in general are my passion and I feel it is my calling no matter if a child has special needs or not.
