About Amy

Thank you for taking the time to find me! I have a decade of experience nannying, tutoring, and teaching. I recently moved to Pittsburgh, and am seeking to work with some awesome youth! I graduated college with an Elementary Education major and Spanish minor. During my time there, I was the energetic Activities Director of an after-school program for 4 years, and worked as an America Reads Tutor in grades K-6. I also had the adventure of a lifetime and spent 4 months studying and living in Guatemala. Since graduating college, I have subbed for elementary schools and worked for local Community Action Programs and nonprofit organizations. My involvement in education, nonprofit programming, and volunteer organizations will make me the perfect fit for your family! My interests include volunteering, cooking (and eating!), yoga, reading, camping, and spending time with loved ones.
