Amy is a 1st grade Broward teacher and also has experience working with special needs children. I was able to look at her background check which is clean, I was able to verify her employment with her school so that part of the process gave us peace of mind because we don't leave or kids with just anybody, we felt very comfortable leaving them with her. Once she was home with them she was amazing, she was able to get them off their tablet and TV and made puzzles with them, played board games, brought a book for them, baked a cake with them, she sent us pictures of them through the day and communicated with us constantly, I mean she is a teacher, she is proactive and is going to look for ways to engage them in educational activities she's not just going to sit on your couch and let them watch TV all day she tries to get them engaged in activities without forcing the child. My kids likes her and it seems like they connected, she will be coming back for sure. Another thing is that she won't open the door to anybody she will call you and ask if you're expecting someone, she also uses her common sense. Really easy to talk too and very independent. Highly recommended.
