About Amy

I just returned from South Korea where I spent a year teaching English to kindergarten through elementary students. Prior to that, I've worked for 2.5 years at a therapeutic day treatment center, in a classroom setting where I helped 3rd grade students with behavior and psychological disabilities. I spent 6 months in Uganda, East Africa where I helped to care for 39 orphans and started a clean-water well project for an orphanage in 2009. Before leaving for this venture, I worked as a youth care specialist. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from Southwest Baptist University and was a nanny to a family of four children for seven years prior to college. I love working with youth. I currently work full-time where I am a behavioral aide in a classroom for children who are behaviorally and/or psychologically challenged. I am looking to babysit a few times a month for help with extra income.
