As a teenager, my Mom worked for the United Cerebral Palsy Association. Working with their summer programs for preschool and elementary aged children was my first experience. Since then, having a degree in education, I have worked as a TSS for autism, preschool teacher, substitute in public school, para with Special Needs Classrooms in School District and volunteer in church programs. I have also cared for a 19-year-old nonverbal young lady who had a G-tube, in her home. I love seeing these children develop and succeed in every day skills as we practice and praise their efforts. Working with children and having my own is one of the greatest joys I have experienced. I would love an opportunity to assist you and your family in any way I can!

We hired Amy to work as a special needs private aid in a pre-K classroom for our son, who is on the autism spectrum and did not have access to TSS services. Her skills and experience as a former TSS, as well as a preschool teacher, were invaluable! She was able help him build essential skills above and beyond our expectations. Amy is patient, kind, thoughtful, and truly cares about each child she works with. We are so grateful for the time Amy spent with our son in his classroom and would highly recommend her work to anyone seeking childcare.
