About Amy

Despite having 10 plus years of paid pet care experience, my work with animals is first and foremost natural, intuitive, instinctual. Growing up we had cats, but as an adult my horizons have broadened to the world of dogs, birds, rodents, reptiles, and farm animals. In my 20s I became an exotic tropical birds rehabber, specifically for green check conjures. I've owned hamsters and guinea pigs, and have cared for chinchillas, bearded dragons, and chickens. I'm comfortable handling unconventional pets like insects. In my 30s I developed a special interest in dogs when I adopted my special boy. Since then I try to learn about dog psychology and different training methods in my spare time. I am not a professional trainer but I am willing to maintain your current training program (if any) with your pets. Just let me know what it is!
