About Amy

I've spent 10+ years nannying and during that time, I spent countless hours tutoring and teaching kids to help them through school. I enjoy making learning fun outside of the classroom to expand a child's mind into thinking of subjects in a functional way. For example, learning to count and find similar shapes while loading the dishwasher or learning about science while on a walk. My experience is mostly with children preschool age to 8 years old, but I do have experience with older children into preteens as well. Some of my achievements while tutoring and teaching include voice students successfully auditioning for musical theater, preschool age kid beginning to read simple words, and academic awards for writing.
