I have been a CNA for 25 years. I began working in hospital in St. Louis, MO on Labor and Delivery and in the Nursery. I shifted into home health care after our hospital was closed down. I have cared for AIDS patients, ALS patients, Paraplegics, Quadriplegics, Stroke patients, Cancer patients, Hospice patients, Heart patients, Epileptics and many more. I've cared for children with fatal rare diseases ( ie: Familia Dysautonomia). I'm extremely patient and want to do all I can to bring joy to my patients lives.

I hired Amy to take care of me after I underwent surgery and needed bed rest, medication management, transportation to and from the doctor, and simple kindness. Amy exudes compassion, patience and clinical expertise. She repeatedly, kindly taught me how to care for my incisions. She wrote up lists and checklists of medications, explaining what each pill was and when to take it. She used her own car to take me to the doctor's office, carefully buckling me in. She tracked down the foods I wanted to eat, including some hard to find low-fat chocolate milk. She was so sweet! I felt I could just relax and allow her to take care of everything. That's about the highest praise I can think of. I just let go, I didn't have to worry about meds or possible infections or appointments -- she had it all well in hand. If you're a worrier like me, you know how rare it is to find an angel - a meticulous angel - like Amy.
