About Amy

I'd describe my personality as responsible, friendly, caring. I like caring for seniors because I can learn so much from their life experiences and because I believe loneliness is a terrible thing. I'm looking for a job that allows me to ease the burden of caregiving for families and can bring joy to older adults. I spent nearly 20 years working for the Center for Aging & Community at UIndy, I have served as an administrative volunteer at Joy's House adult day service, and worked part-time as a receptionist at an assisted living for two years. In my spare time, I like to play word games, read, watch TV, amd enjoy nature. One thing you should know about me is I work a full-time job during the week and am looking for a meaningful job for extra income. My skills include patience, critical thinking, a genuine interest in older adults.
