About Amy

I like working with kids because I enjoy being a witness to the development of their character and skills as the time goes by and assisting them in any areas where they may be struggling. I love seeing them use their curiosity and imagination to create fun activities and in exploring the world around them. It is rewarding to know that such tools that may seem mundane will be of great importance to them when they step out into the world on their own someday. In my spare time, I like biking , going for walks in nature , reading , playing with my dog, learning languages, going kayaking, and trying new adventure sports such as surfing. I'd describe my personality as optimistic, adventurous, and passionate. One thing you should know about me is I can appear somewhat shy in the beginning , but when we are well aquainted I am very sociable and enjoy interacting with families :)
