Amy cared for my 88 y.o. dad at his skilled nursing home. We specifically chose her to "accompany" him to my mom's funeral after her unexpected death. Even though he has dementia and a very short term memory, he talked for weeks about his day with Amy. She made him feel safe, cared for, and special on a very difficult day.
