About Amy

I am a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. I have been working with seniors for 7 years in a day center setting where I provide occupational therapy, fun individual and group activities and exercises as well as companionship and hands on care. I am passionate about caring for the senior community and assisting them with engaging in tasks that are meaningful and necessary in a manner that is dignified. As a licensed health care professional I also have the tools and background to identify safety concerns and possible barriers in senior's living environments as well as the ability to implement compensatory strategies and techniques to keep the individual as safe and as independent as possible.
