I am the President of the civic association for the neighborhood (440 homes) where Amy and her family live and have known them for at least 12 years and have watched their family grow. Amy became a Director of the Association and has served in this capacity for the past nine years. She has been a great asset and active worker on the Beautification committee and the children's events, especially the Children's Easter Egg Hunt and the Halloween Party. She has demonstrated good leadership and a personality of getting along well with both adults and children. As a neighbor family living near me, I have seen her raise three well behaved children and make sure that they got to school and or to and from the bus stops safely each day, as well as getting them to their sports activities. Amy's interest in the schooling of her children led her to being active in various school functions and eventually becoming president of the PTA at the elementary school.
