About Amy

I have grown up with cats but then fell in love with dogs after college. I have had several German Shepherds, do not have any pets currently, and am the hugest animal lover, with a soft spot for the grey muzzled ones. I have also worked as a vet tech so have interacted with beasts of all sizes and temperaments, and can medicate and give sub Q fluids if needed. I'd describe my personality as friendly, authentic, caring. I like working with animals because it just makes me feel good! I am flexible and would like to know what would be most helpful. I have a temp full time job till mid April so I am currently just available in the evenings or overnight on the weekdays, and flexible on Sat and Sunday. Starting in July, I am 100% available. I am a member at the SD Zoo, love going to concerts and museums, and am on a regular work out routine. I am a good communicator, am very detail oriented and responsible. My skills include dog walking, feeding, playing/brushing/cuddling.
