About Amy Jo

I'll start with quite a compact, not very exciting, but possibly relevant summary of facts. Which are as follows: Involved in acting and performing since Junior High. Attended The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NY for theater and The NY acting conservatory for acting on film. Have done plays & film in NY and LA. Completed advanced improv program at UCB and was part of performing improv group. Was one of four actors/writers in online viral sketch comedy group (Very Angry Neighbors). Group performed for schools in lower income areas & coached kids interested in performing arts. This eventually led to individual coaching focused on auditions or general scene work for teens. I'll end, my broad strokes list of training and experience, by adding (or boasting really;) that I am actually pretty good with young people. I'm patient, a good listener and intuitive in bringing out their potential. I think it's important to form a connection that fosters trust & to have fun in the process!
