I have been a nanny since 1984, taking one year off to work as a teacher's aid in a Montessori preschool. I have worked with every single age group both boys and girls, with some families with multiple children and some with only one. Each family required different responsibilities from me. Some families wanted me to concentrate on caring for the child with very little household responsibility. For others, I did light housekeeping, running errands, driving the children places, light household management, pet care.
