About Amy

I have always loved math. In college, while getting my elementary education degree, I tutored college-aged students. I have also tutored children of all ages in different levels of math. For my degree, we had to take courses to help us teach math to children. For my student teaching semester in 2016, I taught 7th grade math at Longfellow Middle School. At Longfellow, I made lesson plans, taught independently to over 100 students, was mentored by an amazing math teacher, tutored students during lunch or outside of school, and graded papers. My brother also taught math for many years at Irving Middle School and Curtis Inge Middle School so he is able to help if I had any math questions. I just love math and am willing to help if your child needs it. :)
