About Amy

I have vast experience in child care in several different capacities including being a nanny, working in child care centers with all age groups and owning and operating my own in- home child care center as well as a programing director for a child care center licensed for 60 children. For the past several years I have been at home raising our two daughters who are now 24 and 17. Most of my experience is with infants and toddlers. In college I worked for 3 years in the infant room at the campus child care center where I also completed my internship. As a nanny in Chicago, I took care of two toddlers and one infant. I like to stay up to date with research on brain development and safe sleep practices. Each day I try to include age appropriate activities for social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
