I have my AA in Early Childhood Devpt. And BS in Psychology with an Early Intervention focus. I have always become a managerial component to the families I have cared for, Engaging in social emotional development, along with developmentally appropriate cognitive activities, are a part of each day with me. I believe in exposing children to the outside world and experiences. This best prepares them with the foundational skills they will need for future academic and social success. Amy is the best thing that happened to us (next to the birth of our Child obviously). As first time parents we had next to no idea what we were doing and/or how to do it. Amy came through like a small miracle for us. Amy's extensive background in childhood development was an incredible asset to us, as we were able to lean on her for advice constantly. She was able to help us navigate the transition to solid foods. She helped us transition him from the bassinet to the crib. Whenever we started having issues with his sleeping/feeding schedule she was always there with advice and ideas. She is so far above a "child care provider" and much more a private tutor/nanny/family member that you will be so thankful for. Additionally, the love and affection she showed our child was amazing. She was always playing with him, cuddling with him, and working on his developmental skills. She was amazing. If we could bring her with us to our new state we would in a second.
