About Amy

I'm a patient and friendly caregiver who is passionate about education and helping children learn. I believe in open and swift communication with parents and am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I've been a stay-at-home mom for 23 years and homeschooled my children for the last 12, so I have a deep understanding of different learning styles and how to meet children's individual needs. I'm also a Board Member for a local tutorial where we offer core and enrichment classes for the homeschooling community. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, gardening, and working on our small hobby farm. I love supervising outdoor play as well as board games and puzzles. I also enjoy using educational games that promote learning. I have a college degree and am CPR and First Aid certified. I am comfortable caring for up to four children of all ages and look forward to meeting your family!
