About Amy

I describe my personality as an adaptable, patient and compassionate person. I like tutoring because I have an opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures. Making an impact on someone's life is priceless. I have learned to become a student and a teacher because flexibility is important. I'm looking for a job that allows me an opportunity to work with students from different levels of English. I hope to integrate my niche (sound and pronunciation skills) into English lessons. I started tutoring when I was preparing to go teach English overseas back in the summer of June 2012 in nonprofit organizations. In my spare time, I like to watch international Netflix dramas. I like to watch movies based on memoirs. One thing you should know about me is that I want to learn from families why they want to learn English and what keeps them motivated. My top skills are clear communication, active listening and having patience with people.
