About Amy

I'd describe my personality as kind, compassionate and caring. I like caring for seniors because they have so much to teach me about life and love. I like listening to stories of when they were young. I'm looking for a job that is a good work environment. I work full time during the week but would like to pick up extra money on the weekends. I started caring for seniors when I began my nursing career. I was an aide(1999), LPN (2000) and I have been a RN since 2006. I've worked hospital settings, home health, clinic and hospice. In my spare time, I like to read mystery/suspense books. I like to spend time with my family and I go to see my mother often. One thing you should know about me is I like nursing and I have a fondness for our Elders. My skills include medication administration, communication with patients and family and critical thinking of how to provide care and comfort for my patients.
