I'd describe my personality as friendly, honest and respectful I like caring for seniors because they deserve to be treated with the upmost respect and dignity, and should be treated as our own family I started caring for seniors when I was 18 in 2007. I first started at an assisted living facility and worked my up to long term, memory care, hospice, rehabilitation, and worked in hospital settings as well. One thing you should know about me is I do like having open communication, updates of any changes, I make sure that whatever task within reason are assigned to me I will complete on a timely manner. My skills include taking vitals and assist with glucose checks, help perform daily adls which include bathing whether it is shower or bed baths, dressing toileting and more, I can use transfer devices and mechanical lifts, I am also knowledgeable on diet requirements for clients whether it's for diabetes or for a client with aphasia who is requiring foods purée / thickened fluids.
