I can not say enough wonderful things about Amy. We hired Amy over two years ago after interviewing a couple different people and I am so glad we did. For over two years now she has cleaned our house weekly with intermittent babysitting and occasional house sitting. It was my first time hiring someone to clean the house and I was nervous about whether it would be awkward to have someone in my home while I’m doing other things or if it would be uncomfortable giving her specific directions in terms of how I wanted something cleaned but Amy makes me feel so incredibly comfortable. She’s so easy to be around and so approachable and so easy to talk to if there is a specific way I want a cleaning job done or specific cleaners, etc. She’s excellent at cleaning and organizing. With the two young kids our house is perpetually in a state of disaster, but for a short while after Amy has worked her magic everything is sparkly clean and orderly. In addition to the big picture, she is also excellent at noticing what needs occasional attention and automatically cycling through the more detailed “nooks and crannies” giving that Spring Cleaning detailed attention to different areas each week. She is also very careful and has never broken anything. She is also an excellent communicator which was particularly important to us coming out of the pandemic and still now. We always communicate with each other if either of our households are sick so as not to spread sicknesses to each other, something I especially appreciated as we emerged from pandemic lockdown two years ago and again when my second child was a newborn. In terms of babysitting, she is excellent with my 1 year old and 4 year old, so sweet, caring, gentle, and attentive. My kids love her so much that they cry if they can’t spend some time playing with her when she comes to clean. Personality-wise, Amy is a very positive, kind, thoughtful, honest, trustworthy, intelligent, caring, and generous person. I feel very fortunate to have connected with her.
