Hello! My name is Amy. I bring a wealth of experience in providing care and educational services to children and individuals with special needs, including roles in direct care, group home management, day habilitation program coordination, and art education program facilitation. Additionally, I have five years of experience as a summer camp counselor and five years as a NYS certified art teacher. Working with children has been incredibly rewarding and fun for me. As a mother of two; a 13-year-old daughter and an 18-year-old son, I understand the joys and challenges of parenting. I also have two large dogs and I love outdoor activities and facilitating art projects. I have a passion for cooking, especially using fresh ingredients from my garden. My background also includes experience as a line cook and prep cook. I am dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, inclusive and engaging environment for all children in my care and look forward to the opportunity to work with your family.
