There is so much more to being a nanny than just watching your child(ren). As a nanny I have a vested interest in the development of your child. I feel that children need many positive role models in their lives and to be given many opportunities to learn; whether that be simply talking about what we see, answering questions, or an activity more hands on. As an household employee it's my aim to be an extension of the parents. Doing so helps the child understand I am a part of their family. Children do better in environments where parents and caregivers agree on parenting methods and have a structured environment. Strong communication through discussion and daily logs are of high importance to me. You can depend on my punctuality and dignity. When I am not with my littles you would see me out walking my dog, grabbing a coffee, playing board games with friends, sitting around a bonfire with my husband, and enjoying a BBQ with my family.

Amy helped our family for just under four years. Our kids are now 7 and (almost) 4, both girls. During that time, our experience with Amy has been outstanding! As our nanny, Amy is thoughtful, caring, patient, and kind. The kids get tons of conversations and creative activities tailored to their personalities. Or, sometimes we must set limits on certain types of activities, or get home work done, etc., and Amy has a wonderful approach to making these kinds of things happen. Plus, she constructively engages situations that need special attention-those kinds of things that are unique to our kids. She takes her position as Nanny quite seriously, giving a lot of attention and time to educating herself about child development and child care. On top of all that, she is reliable, professional, and communicative, always. Overall, We feel very lucky to have had Amy as our nanny, and wish her the best as she opens this new chapter in her life
