About Amy

I'm a childcare provider with 15 years of experience caring for children of all ages. I currently work at a public school as a paraprofessional. I have summer and weekends off so looking for occasional/part time childcare provider opportunities. My passion for fostering children's growth and development, and my desire to make a positive impact on their lives, is what motivated me to become a caregiver. I am patient, calm, creative, and friendly, and I believe in providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and communicating with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise. I follow the parents' preferred communication method and keep them updated on their child. I enjoy a variety of games, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning. I also love doing arts and crafts, science experiments, and activities to make learning fun and engaging.
