Empathetic, outgoing, friendly, compassionate, and patient with great listening skills. Detail oriented, careful, and critical thinker. I'm dependable and a hard worker. I feel like our elderly can become forgotten in society and as a result, they are lonely and may feel they don't have anything to contribute to the world anymore, but I know these tender souls have things to teach us, if we listen. I also feel that the pandemic has added to their isolation from community and has only exacerbated feelings of loneliness for these precious souls. My prior job was a teller at a bank in Richardson, TX where I worked for 3 years. I enjoyed being able to help people in my role, especially the older folks. I also worked in Childcare for 2+ years at my church in Frisco, TX, as an assistant to the supervisor. I have 3 grown children. While this will be new direction for me, I feel I'm up to the challenge.
