About Amy

Hello there! My name is Amy, and I am a fourth grade teacher. While I have no medical experience, I have a lot of experience working with seniors! It has been a passion of mine to care for this lovely population! I volunteered with my family for about 10 years visiting nursing homes and singing for the residents, then taking time to chat with them. My previous dog was CGC certified, and I took him on many trips to nursing homes to visit the residents and brighten their day! I lived with my grandfather for almost 5 years, helping to care for him, but mostly chatting with him and keeping him company. I'm an old soul who loves to read books, listen to oldies music, create artwork, and go walking in nature with my dog! I'm a teacher during the school year, but I am looking for work in the evenings and weekends, as well as work for the summer.
