About Amyah

Hello there, my name is Amyah and I'm excited about the opportunity to work with your family! I have several years of hands-on experience in childcare, having worked at a daycare with children around the ages of 6 months to 7 years old, and as a substitute teacher in both special education and general education settings in Los Angeles and Austin for the past three years. Currently, I'm pursuing my master's degree in School Psychology, with a focus on supporting children and families through academic challenges. I also hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology, with extensive coursework in human development and family studies. I'm comfortable working with children from all backgrounds. I have intermediate Spanish speaking skills, having studied abroad in Costa Rica. Leaving your child with someone new can be daunting, but I promise to create a nurturing, positive environment where your child will feel comfortable, safe, and engaged.
