About Amiya

My name is Amiya, I am 20 years old and currently a part time babysitter looking to become full time for ALL ages. I am comfortable babysitting up to 4 children at a time. Some things to know about me; I am an animal lover of all kinds, I love being outdoors and being physically active, my favorite hobby is singing and playing guitar, and most of all, my passion is working with children and supporting their development. I previously was a Teacher/Caregiver at McGregors Daycare primarily working with toddlers from ages 1-3yrs old! While working there I was CPR and first aid trained for Infants-Schoolagers. My other prior experience in childcare consists of volunteer work at Lake Superior Youth and Family Center, Peer to Peer program in middle school and high school working with other students that have special needs, and babysitting for the last 7 years with children of all ages and disabilities (specifically including ADHD, ODD, Autism, and Severe Sensory Issues).
