About Amirah

Hi! My name is Amirah. I'm a motivated and outgoing nursing student with about 6 years of experience caring for infants and children between the ages of 2 months - 6 years old. For as long as I remember, I've always loved being a helping hand and caring for babies and children, which is one of the reasons why I'm currently pursuing a career in midwifery. While working in childcare, I've always tried my best to keep the child(ren) engaged, safe, comfortable, and happy. Whether that be with tummy time, arts and crafts, or fun indoor/outdoor activities, I always aim for learning and growing in an enjoyable, educational, and fun way! In addition, I strongly value open communication, honesty, trust, kindness, collaboration, and respect when working with parents to find the best ways to care for their child(ren).
