Hi families! My name is Amirah. I'm a motivated and outgoing student nurse with about 7 years of experience caring for infants and children between the ages of 2 months - 10 years old. For as long as I remember, I've always loved being a helping hand and caring for babies and children, which is one of the reasons why I'm pursuing a career as an L&D nurse. While working in childcare, I've always tried my best to keep the child(ren) engaged, safe, comfortable, and happy. Whether that be with tummy time, arts and crafts, or fun indoor/outdoor activities, I always aim for learning and growing in an enjoyable, educational, and fun way! Amirah was great with my girls aged 3 and 1. She was very punctual and very soft spoken. She gave the kids her full attention and happily took them out for plenty of outdoor time. She also has a very pleasant and patient manner which is perfect for handling young kids! Good luck Amirah!
