About Aminata

I feel compelled to write this review because Aminata will always be special as we have nothing but fond memories of the time she spent with us. She helped take care of our daughter since the age of 3 through elementary school. My daughter is now in college. At the time she joined us she had 4 children of her own — all 4 of which have made it to college. Thus she brings a lot of experience with her. She is a caring, loving, and trustworthy caretaker. Aminata’s presence was always gentle and jovial. Notwithstanding, she knew when to be firm and when to be yielding. Her calm, and patient energy meant that she always achieved the necessary discipline without it coming off as disciplinary, with smiles and assurance. She arranged many playdates and was very responsible about befriending the nannies and introducing the parents before scheduling dates. Something I found very proactively prudent. We found her to be very creative with the time spent with our daughter as well. We sought a nanny who spoke French and were grateful for the time she spent singing, reading, and talking to our daughter in French. In addition, she was always punctual, extremely responsible, and adjusted with every stage of our daughter’s growth. We could always count on her to always do what’s best when she was with our daughter. We can’t recommend her highly enough!
