I currently am employed as a teacher's assistant for a private school for the special needs public, ages ranging from 8 years to 16 years. Over the past 4 years, I have developed my skills with the special education population and am aiming to grow a deeper bond with your children. I have been with challenging cases where aggression and SIB are target behaviors. I know how to teach the child to use alternative behaviors to reach their goals. I have much experience with nonvocal children and can teach communication through PECS and sign language. More than all of that, I am a fun, compassionate and patient young lady ready to help a family grow.
