My mother was diagnosed with CHF at 82 and was on hospice until passing at home. She is one of the many reasons I enjoy caring and providing companionship to our seniors!. I also provided care for my mother in-law who became ill and was on hospice for about 6 months and has now passed away. My family does not believe in placing the elderly in a nursing home if one can avoid it as best as a family can.
