About Ameriah

Hello! Children have always been a part of my life , mainly because my mother was a foster parent for 12 years. However I began babysitting when I was 16 years old up until I was 18 years old. That is when I started working at a daycare, mostly in the newborn area but also occasionally with school aged children as well. I worked there until I left for college in 2020. Since then, I have worked with children ranging in age from 3 months to 12 years old and have also provided care for a 19-year-old special needs teen. I have expertise working with all types of personalities, potty training, sleep regression , speech delays autistic children ect. For a short period I also worked as a substitute teacher to gain experience in a classroom setting. I am currently attending the University of Houston studying Anthropology with a minor in Education. I am set to graduate this spring 2024, after graduation I plan on becoming an elementary teacher.
