I've wanted to make a positive impact on children's lives since I was a child myself. I'm the oldest sibling so I have 2 younger siblings as I've taken care of them as well as I grew up which gave me experience as well with kids as well as my neighbors kids and family members. I am patient, calm, friendly, approachable, outgoing, and funny. I believe that clear and open communication is essential, so I provide regular updates to parents about their child's day and any issues that arise. I also follow the parents' preferred method of communication. When it comes to enforcing household rules, I follow the parents' lead. I want to ensure that children feel safe and respected in my care. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and technology-based games and apps. I am comfortable caring for one child at a time. I have some college education and speak English and Spanish.
