I have been in childcare for about 10 years now. I was a pre-k teacher's assistant & a twos teacher. I have babysat for around 20 families. I am experienced with kids with autism, epilepsy, Down syndrome and other special needs. I have worked with all ages from 0-14 but like working in early child care the best. I pride myself in creating a compassionate & creative environment for children to explore & grow through nature, art, reading etc. I like to approach kids with kindness and understanding. I am more than comfortable with pets, homework help/educational activities & preparing simple meals. I have a reliable car. I am also certified in first aid & CPR. I am looking for a regular nanny job but am open to part time or as needed gigs as well. I am happy to provide references, have extra introductions and send updates throughout our time together to help ease any anxieties as I get how uncomfortable it can be leaving your child with a new person

Amelia did a wonderful job with my 1 & 5 year old. I'm always hesitant and nervous to have a new person come watch them but I was pretty quickly put at ease when she arrived and instantly started talking to my kids and interacting with them. My son, the 5 year old, had nothing but good things to report! Said he had a fun day and she made him feel very comfortable. She also left the house neater than it was when I left. Will definitely hire her again!
