About Amelia
Experience: 10 yrs
I have had several years of experience caring for children. I have my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies (education). For four years I was a Special Education Teacher for severe Special Day classes. I have taught classes from pre-k to 12th grade as well as adult programs. I enjoy taking care of and teaching those who have developmental disorders. For about a year and a half in college I was an ABA therapist for children with autism and related disorders. I have worked with many moderate and severe children. I have also nannied, babysat, and taught typical developing children. I have worked and cared for all ages and several different abilities of children. I am a Mama to a 2-year-old and am looking for part time work! My daughter will most likely be with me on the job; she is fun, sweet and so loving!

I have known Amelia for several years through church and as a family friend. She has been our only babysitter, outside of family. She is on time, friendly, prepared, and engaged each and every time. My two sons have always had fun and been happy after their time with Amelia. She's a caring and patient woman with a true heart for people.
