About Amelia

Hi there! I've worked with kids in a wonderful variety of situations. I run the children's program at a Portland day shelter and have interned at a refuge in Jalisco, Mexico for a while. I've also spent 4 years as a camp counselor caring for kids aged 5-15. I have a B. A. in Psychology with a focus on human development and child psychology. I'm between graduating and starting my new job as a caseworker, and I'd love to support your family and create a safe, fun time for your kiddos while you get to take a break! I'd describe the best parts of my personality as bubbly, creative, and warm. I like working with kids because the world needs more kind, fun, and patient people. It's fulfilling to show kids how to interact with others in a way that lets everyone feel safe and appreciated, and it's super fun to get on their level and have fun playing silly games.
