About Amelia

Hi! I've had a lot of experience supporting children in different settings, and it's something I truly love doing. One of the most meaningful roles I've had was working with children with autism in a clinic setting and in-home setting. I worked closely with families to help children build important skills, such as communication, social interaction, and gaining independence. Whether it was a child saying their first word, engaging in a new activity, washing their hands, putting on their shoes, or achieving a goal they had been working toward, it was an incredibly rewarding experience. In addition to my clinical experience, I've also worked with children in school environments, including both traditional classrooms and cross-categorical (cross-cat) settings. I've supported children with a range of abilities and needs, creating a space where each child felt included and valued. Whether it was helping with schoolwork, encouraging friendships, or providing extra support when needed!
