About Amelia

Hi! I'm Amelia, I'm 25, and I currently live in Prospect Heights with my kitten, Noki. I recently left my corporate finance job to spend some time with my grandmother and explore other interests. I've lived in Brooklyn since graduating from UPenn in 2021, and have a knack for making the most of all the beautiful parks and museums that the city has to offer. Although I am new to professional childcare, I've grown up looking after both my friends' and my younger siblings. I absolutely love kids, and feel that I am a good match for stimulating and encouraging their natural curiosity and general vigor for life. That being said, I am no stranger to tantrums, and like to approach conflict resolution with tenderness and understanding. I respect any rules set out by parents, emphasize frequent and open communication, and most importantly, value the child's safety and well-being above all else.
